Korean Village Restaurant is a great place to dine if you and your party can't decide what to eat, but know that they have a hankering for Korean food. Their menu has a large variety of options and their customer service is top notch customer service.

We came here on a Saturday night and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Considering how busy they were, this seemed like no time at all, especially when we were perusing photos on the wall of the owner (RIP) with various diners and celebrities.
We ended up ordering the Pork Belly and Spicy Chicken BBQ, Bulgogi, and Jajangmyeon. Everything was delicious and filled the four of us right up. The Jajanmyeon here was probably the best I've had so far, and I can't wait to come back for more!

Dining here is definitely on the pricier side though for Korean food, but it's totally worth it.

This is a wonderful Korean restaurant that's been established in the neighborhood since the 1970's.

it's a No-Frills Korean restaurant that has a good assortment of traditional dishes. The tofu soup is particularly good someone in my group noticed.

When you walk in the restaurant you immediately notice the owner with local and international celebrities.

This is the kind of restaurant you can hang out with friends and not feel any pretentiousness. The prices are reasonable and the food aligns with that.

Visited on the strip of Koreatown filled with many other restaurants. Glad I went in to try it- apparently lots of famous figures have also dined as well.

The interior is very spacious with a traditional vibe. Odd note- the booth is spaced far from the table so it wasn't that comfortable for me to sit on as a shorter/average height person. The menu pricing is bit higher when compared to the other Korean restaurants on the streets but the feel of the place was a bit "higher" than the traditional mom's kitchen.

We ordered the pork bone soup, seafood pancake, and chicken katsu. All tasted really great. The pork bone soup was very filling, it looks small at first but I could bare finish. The seafood pancake was my favourite- the sauce they provide to dip it in added to the flavour and there was a nice crunch in it. The chicken katsu was good as well, portioned nicely but I do wish it came with a better side salad. Overall everything tasted great.

I do prefer the other smaller, less fancy Korean restaurants in Koreatown to this one. Regardless, it is a good candidate for a nice date night or if you're looking to eat with someone you aren't as "close" with since it has a better vibe to have a conversation inside.

Alright, let's start with the good things.
Service is decent, decor is nice and a nice variety for the menu. The customer service is friendly too.
We got Jap Chae for the table, which was delicious. We each got our own main meal that were all different but we did not try each other's.
My boyfriend got food poisoning from the Pork Bone Soup... Probably because it was old and just reheated. He said the potato was mushy, the meat and soup were bland and he felt himself getting bloated really quickly. When we got home, he was super nauseous to puking point and had a really bad time on the toilet.
Everyone else was fine, including myself. I just have an unhappy tummy this morning... Maybe the Bulgogi... I'm not sure.
We will not be coming back here... Ever. For any reason. Even if the Jap Chae was great. It's not worth the food poisoning experience with old/stale food being served to customers.

The food was really good but I did feel bloated after I ate, so I'm not sure if it's from some ingredient I don't know I'm intolerant too or something I ate had gluten in it. I'm think one of the appetizers brought to the table had gluten in the sauce.

I ordered the BimBop and it tasted fantastic! It was loaded with flavour and had lots of vegetables. I really wanted something on the healthy side and was really happy with my dish.
